Get ready to graduate with our final term checklist.

You did it! All the assignments, the early classes, the placements, the group work, the juggle of work/study/life. You’ve finished your course and we can’t wait to celebrate with you and your friends and family, at your graduation.  

Graduation ceremonies are held twice per year in Sydney and Melbourne (July and November) and once per year in Brisbane (July only). 

To be eligible for Graduation, students must meet the eligibility criteria by the indicated Eligibility Deadline, failure to do so will mean student are automatically moved to the next ceremony.

Get Ready to Graduate 🎓

1. Finish your subjects

  • You complete all required subjects in your course. 
  • Your final grades are reviewed and officially confirmed by the College.

2. Ensure all outstanding tuition and administration fees are paid in full.

3. Ensure your personal details are up to date in the student portal 

  • Full Legal Name – this will be printed on your award certificate (this must match the exact name attached to your USI)
  • Mailing Address 
  • Mobile Phone

4. Eligible students receive their official ceremony invitation.

Students who have met the eligibility criteria before the indicated eligibility deadline, will receive their official ceremony invitation approximately two to four weeks prior to the ceremony.

5. RSVP for your preferred Graduation Ceremony

 All eligible students are required to RSVP to one of the following four options before the registration deadline, even if they do not wish to attend a graduation ceremony. This will avoid multiple unnecessary correspondence and ensure your Testamur/Qualification Documents are distributed promptly.
The ceremony invitations contain a link to RSVP via our graduation partners (Reed Events) website where you will be required to select one of the four following options. You will also be able to book photography session and purchase merchandise.

  1. Register for upcoming ceremony via the personal email that you received.
  2. Register for upcoming ceremony in an alternative location 
  3. Defer registration to the next ceremony in the cycle
  4. Decline registration to current and future graduation ceremonies, graduate in absentia (Graduate without attending a ceremony)

6. Get ready to celebrate

 It time to invite your family and friends and get familiar with your ceremony details

  1. Check out the venue location, public transport and parking options, so you can arrive in good time and stress free (link to venue page)
  2. Review the What to Expect on Graduation Day
  3. If you have a question about dress code, ticketing, access the FAQs (link to zendesk)

Unique Student Identifier (USI) 

A Unique Student Identifier (USI) is a free, government-issued 10-digit number required for all students studying in Australia.

Your USI stays with you for life and records all nationally recognised training you complete, even across different institutions. 

You must provide a valid USI to receive your qualification. If you do not supply your USI, we cannot issue your award.
