World Mental Health Day
October 9 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm All campuses
World Mental Health Day takes place every year on October 10.
Its main goal is to build global awareness about mental health problems, stop social shame and stigma, and push groups and leaders to offer better care and support for people everywhere.
Since this falls on a Saturday this year, we encourage all to celebrate and spread awareness all week and especially on Friday, the day our campus is last open before the weekend this falls on.
Your wellbeing matters to us. We know that academic success is shaped by more than study alone, which is why we take a holistic approach to supporting you throughout your student journey. Factors such as academic pressures, health and wellbeing, financial or housing challenges, cultural and social experiences, and unexpected life events can all influence your ability to learn, engage, and be your best self. We recognise that these experiences can change over time, and support is available to help you navigate challenges and continue your studies with confidence.
Please visit the Student Wellbeing page on our Student Life website for more information and resources available to you. Remember support is available, and you are never alone. Reach out if you need!
