DESCRIPTION:Discover one of the world’s most scenic coastal drives\, including the 12 Apostles\, Loch Ard Gorge\, and stunning ocean views. We’re hitting the road to see the limestone giants\, meet some furry locals\, and soak up the wildest coast on the planet. \n\n\n\nA journey with meaningLeaving Melbourne\, the day begins with a relaxed stop at a local chocolaterie\, giving everyone time to settle in and get to know the group. From there\, the journeyfollows the iconic Great Ocean Road\, where every stop is tied together with stories rather than scripts. At the Memorial Arch\, learn why this road is considered the world’s largest war memorial\, built by returned soldiers and shaped by resilience and history. \n\n\n\nIconic coast\, unhurriedFeel the scale of the Southern Ocean as you descend the Gibson Steps to sea level. Spend quality time at the Twelve Apostles\, with space to explore\, photograph\, and absorb the scenery without feeling rushed. Continue to Loch Ard Gorge\, where dramatic cliffs frame one of the Great Ocean Road’s most powerful shipwreck stories. \n\n\n\nDesigned routes\, not repetitionThe tour travels along the coast on the way out and returns via an inland route\, offering different landscapes and a more engaging journey rather than repeatingthe same road twice. \n\n\n\n📅 Date: Friday 3 July 2026  \n\n\n\n🚌 Departure: 8:00AM from Melbourne Campus \n\n\n\n🏔️ Destination: Great Ocean Road & Twelve Apostles  \n\n\n\n🍽️ Included: Bus transport \n\n\n\n🎟️ Your contribution: $50 per student \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\n\n\n– Weather appropriate clothing — think warm layers\, waterproof jacket\, and sturdy shoes \n\n\n\n– Umbrella (July in Victoria means expect the unexpected!) \n\n\n\n– Personal money to buy your lunch as lunch is not provided \n\n\n\n– Any personal snacks and water bottle for the journey \n\n\n\n– Motion sickness medication if needed \n\n\n\nSpots are strictly limited\, so secure yours early.
