We’re hitting the road to see the limestone giants\, meet some furry locals\, and soak up the wildest coast on the planet. \n\n\n\nA journey with meaningLeaving Melbourne\, the day begins with a relaxed stop at a local chocolaterie\, giving everyone time to settle in and get to know the group. From there\, the journeyfollows the iconic Great Ocean Road\, where every stop is tied together with stories rather than scripts. At the Memorial Arch\, learn why this road is considered the world’s largest war memorial\, built by returned soldiers and shaped by resilience and history. \n\n\n\nIconic coast\, unhurriedFeel the scale of the Southern Ocean as you descend the Gibson Steps to sea level. Spend quality time at the Twelve Apostles\, with space to explore\, photograph\, and absorb the scenery without feeling rushed. Dawn services are held across Australia and New Zealand and are open to everyone. \n\n\n\nWhile Ikon is not hosting or facilitating this event\, we recognise the importance of ANZAC Day and encourage students who are able to take part in their local community’s service in a way that feels respectful and meaningful to them. \n\n\n\nAttendance is optional\, and students are encouraged to look up details for their nearest service through their local council or RSL.
